Lundi, 9 janvier 2017. 7e étape : La Paz – Uyuni (Bolivie) Liaison : 400 km – Spéciale : 161 km – Liaison : 240 km – Total : 801 km

Après la journée de repos, la course repart vers le sud avec une étape marathon (sans assistance) à Uyuni. Il fallait donc être prudent aujourd’hui et ne pas abîmé le matériel qui devra encore faire une spéciale, jusqu’à Salta demain, avant de revoir les mécaniciens du Team Xtremeplus. Les intempéries continuent à ravager la zone et la spéciale a été à nouveau raccourcie. La navigation était compliquée aujourd’hui surtout dans les dunes à 3750 mètres d’altitude avec beaucoup de végétation qui cachait les traces et la piste. En SSV, Ravil Maganov est le plus rapide du Xtremeplus Polaris Factory Team devant Li Dongsheng, Mao Rujin, Wang Fujiang et Leandro Torres.

Stage 7: La Paz – Uyuni (Bolivia)
Liaison: 400 km – Special stage: 161 km – Liaison: 240 km – Total: 801 km

After the rest day, the race heads toward the South for the marathon stage, without service assistance at Uyuni. So, competitors had to be prudent today and make sure that they would not damage the material they will use again for another full special stage to get to Salta tomorrow, where the mechanic of the Team Xtremeplus will be waiting for them.

The rains continue to hit the zone and the stage was once again shortened. Navigation was complicated and even harder in the dunes at 3750 meters above sea level, with lots of vegetation that hid the tracks.

In the SSV, Ravil Maganov was the fastest of the Xtremeplus Polaris Factory Team in front of Li Dongsheg, Mao Rujin, Wang Fujiang and Leandro Torres.
