Stage 7: Diamantina – Belo Horizonte

Road connection: 54.38 km – Selective Section: 125.88 km – Road connection: 151.96 km – Total: 336.96 km

The last stage of the Rally Dos Sertoes takes competitors up to the podium located in Pampulha Lake in Belo Horizonte. The three Xtremeplus crews made it to the finish line and receive a strong ovation. Ambrosio and Cadu finished with an outstanding second place in the stage while Torre and Bosse fought until the end and obtained the 4th overall place.

The evening, after the prize giving ceremony, was a Brazilian party with an open bar of Caipirinha!

Carlos Ambrosio – Carlos Eduardo Piacentini Sachs (Cadu) N°204 – 2nd in 1h56’17 -15th overall at 20h57’30: “This last stage was even better than all the others and we are very, very happy. This time, we calculated our risks and we managed to get to the second place of the special stage. I could not compete with the speed of my opponents, but in the turns, because of the great suspensions, I was faster. The Polaris RZR 900XT +40 is awesome!”

Leando Torres / Idali Bosse N208 – 5th in 2h03’22 – 4th overall at 1h08’40: “Mission accomplished, we crossed the finish line! The strategy we adopted these last days paid off and we made it to the end with a beautiful 4th overall place, very close to the podium. The Polaris RZR 900XT +40 is a solid and reliable machine on every kind of road. It was a beautiful race!”

Celio Vinicius Oliveira and Pipo Mirone N2016 – 16th overall at 16h42’10: Unfortunately, the crew broke a rear suspension at kilometer 140.
